Coast Guard Two Rivers

The Two Rivers Coast Guard station site was established in 1876. The first building was erected in 1909 and later added on in 1941, to the present size. Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, the United States Coast Guard has been a part of the Two Rivers community for more than 100 years. During World War II, the station served as a check point for basic training.

Army National Guard Two Rivers

(WIARNG) The Wisconsin Army National Guard is proudly known as the "First to Fight" group. Living up to their "First to Fight" reputation, more than 1,000 Wisconsin Army National Guard Soldiers repsonded to the initial 2003 invasion of Iraq. The (WIARNG) was also the first to fight with the Japanese in 1942. The "Iron Brigade" is one of the popular national commands, which was created which was created by Volunteer Infrantry regiments. Our very own Wisconsin Army National Guard is known as some of the USA's toughest Soldiers, who are often "First to Fight".
